When It Rains It Pours

It has often been said and often been heard;
When it rains it pours.
What are we saying here or even accepting? Too many times we use these words to make our situation seem acceptable or easy to manage. It quickly becomes part of our belief system. A belief that "It" is like this, always like this, always will be like this. "It" and "this" being the situation, circumstance or even what you believe about yourself.
So I had a few events happen in my life where those who were witness to my life simply said, "when it rains it pours". Even the officer who gave me the ticket said it. This phrase has been striking me in a way that seems, well wrong, or at least negative. So as I mused over this phrase I realized that this is a statement of defeat and I refuse to be defeated!

New thought;
Why not make the statement a positive one. All you have to do is fill in the blank...

When it rains__________it pours__________.

Example:
When it rains blessings it pours blessings.
When it rains love it pours love.
When it rains peace it pours peace.
When it rains grace it pours grace.
When it rains kindness it pours kindness.
When it rains trials it pours perseverance.
When it rains money it pours money.

If we want to change our belief system we must change what we say. There is power in the spoken word.

Remember keep it positive.
