Well here it is my blog on the blogger. The words we use these days, blog, sounds like a title for a B movie horror. Coming Soon... Attack of the Blog, Creature from the black Blog, Gone with the Blog or Blog Wars. I remember, as a boy, having a password was something we used to keep the girls out of our tree house. A special code that separated the elite from the not so elite. If you had the password, you could get in. Of course if the girls found out what the code word was, we simply changed it. Today my life is full of passwords and codes, so many that I keep them in a special place protected by a password.
Life without God would be like life without a special code or password, with out God one can not enter. One can not enter peace, joy, love, abundant life or forgiveness. I have heard it said "We can have all this without God." I say it is impossible without God. I have also heard it said "We can walk a million miles away from God yet we are always one step back to Him." Even if you forget the password there is free access to peace, love and joy. God is always there, admiring his work of art and you are His workmanship, His beauty. You are His glory.
If you are reading this and you are having trouble believing in God, let me challenge you to try and forget about Him. Go ahead, try to forget about the King of the universe. Go ahead, try to forget how He helped you that day when you cried out to Him. Go ahead, try to forget the God who made the sun and the rain. Go ahead, try to forget Him. IF you have trouble forgetting about God, chances are God has you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Now, if forgetting God comes easy for you it is likely that you are not entering into peace, joy or love. You probably have a substitute for love, joy and peace. Jesus said if you drink His water you would never thirst again. So, once you are finished with the substitutes and you need your thirst quenched, remember God loves you and desires a relationship with you.
Remember his forgiveness is for giving. It's for giving you a new start, it's for giving you hope, it's for giving you abundant life. Remember, He gave for you and me.
Don't forget your password,
Jackson
